Backstory
Blake Harris and Nick Kerlin met in 2010 at Furniture Row Racing. Harris was imbedded in the short track scene in Colorado when he and Kerlin decided to start KH Suspension based in Denver, CO. Initially what started as a local shock company, quickly grew to building and servicing shocks for customers all across the country. Once Furniture Row Racing closed it's doors the company was relocated to Pueblo, CO where Kerlin took on the growth of KHS full time. Harris moved back to the East Coast to continue his full time career in Cup racing while managing customer support for the company as well.
In 2020, KHS expanded their team bringing on Drew Bible to head up the open wheel division on the East Coast.
Our shock techs have built winning products at every level motorsports. Over the years, KHS has expanded to several markets within motorsports and outside as well.

Meet Our Team
Nick Kerlin

Co-owner
From Old Fort, Ohio, Nick Kerlin grew up around dirt track racing and
working on Sprint Cars. He has strong experience in the racing industry
working for Donny Schatz, Craig Dolansky, and Shane Stewart on the
World of Outlaws tour. For 3 years, Kerlin traveled and worked as
a shock specialist for Minardi Team USA and HVM Racing in the Indy
Car Series. In 2010, he became the Shock Specialist for Furniture Row
Racing in Denver, Colorado. Kerlin brings years of knowledge and skill to the KH Suspension team and is dedicated to helping racers get to Victory Lane.
Blake Harris

From small town Maypearl, TX, Blake Harris started his passion at a young age, racing on dirt and asphalt ovals all over the South. At 18, he moved to North Carolina to pursue a career in the NASCAR industry. He was quickly hired on at Evernham Motorsports. Once Evernham shut down, Harris took a 9 year swing out West to Furniture Row Racing. He has now worked in the NASCAR industry for over 16 years and is currently a car chief at Joe Gibbs Racing in Huntersville, NC. Harris has remained closely connected to his short track roots providing customer support and set-up assistance for all the KHS customers.
